Cameron Winter is releasing his first live album, Live at Carnegie Hall, on October 9. The show took place at the concert hall last December, featuring stripped-back renditions of songs from Heavy Metal, as well as three previously unreleased tracks.
Though Paul Thomas Anderson and Benny Safdie filmed the show, details of accompanying footage have not been revealed. The Geese frontman’s Carnegie Hall show was one stop on a short U.S. tour for Heavy Metal. The performance made him one of the youngest solo musicians to headline and perform in the New York concert hall’s Stern Auditorium. He released Heavy Metal in 2024, a year before the release of Geese’s acclaimed album Getting Killed.
Partisan and PIAS are releasing the live LP. The inner sleeve, sweetly, depicts Winter and Andrew Carnegie sharing a kiss.
