Fontaines D.C. announce 2026 UK and European arena tour

Fontaines D.C. have announced a huge 2026 UK and European arena tour.

Following their giant Reading & Leeds headline slots this weekend (August 28-29) along with Electric Picnic (August 30), the Dublin rockers will embark on an arena tour later this year.

The tour is in support of their fifth album ‘Dopamine Chamber‘, which will arrive on October 16 via XL Recordings. Pre-order the album here.

Kicking off in Lisbon on October 21, Grian Chatten and co. will visit other European cities such as Madrid (22), Bologna (26), Prague (30). The European leg will stretch into November with shows in Berlin (2), Stockholm (5), Copenhagen (8), Amsterdam (10), and Paris (13).

From there, Fontaines will begin their UK leg with a show at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena on the 20th, with further shows at Manchester’s AO Arena (21), Glasgow’s OVO Hydro (22), Leeds’ First Direct Arena (24) and Birmingham’s Utilita Arena (25). The band will cap off with a mighty show at London’s O2 Arena on November 27. More information about Ireland dates are expected soon.

Presale begins at 10am BST on September 1, while general sale follows at 10am, September 3. Get your tickets here and see all dates below:

So far, Fontaines have previewed their lead single ‘Marianne‘ off ‘Dopamine Chamber’. In our five-star review of the track, we wrote: “This particular postcard, one of two newbies recently debuted live alongside the shadowy menace of ‘Six Shot Morning’, comes from a destination of tension piercing a surreal dream, a dark lullaby where the elegiac synth majesty of Depeche Mode meets a widescreen David Lynch scene of lush strings. The sense of place is well-earned, and the longing is ultra real.

“While ‘Starburster‘ was a sharp shock and intake of breath, ‘Marianne’ is an opening scene set in opulent colour and dizzying sound.”

Meanwhile, we last spoke to frontman Grian Chatten about Fontaines’ record ‘Romance’ in 2024.

He spoke about how ‘Romance’ was a creative reset of sorts of the band, telling us: “I want to say this in a way that isn’t mean… To be creatively understood by too many people feels like flies settling all over your clothes and all other your face. Every now and again you have to fucking shake them off, just to see who you are again. That’s what we wanted to do.

“We spoke a lot about visual references, films and stuff like that,” he added. “I’m not even messing, but we used to speak about: ‘What kind of weather is it in this song?’ We could meet on a plain that didn’t have anything to do with music, arrangements or instruments. It’s more about abstractly getting to the right place. I think it’s more interesting to work in that way because you’re at less danger of sounding contrived or unoriginal.”

You can watch the full chat below.

Elsewhere, Fontaines D.C. have announced intimate New York and Los Angeles shows ahead of ‘Dopamine Chamber’.
