Oasis fans have decoded what they believe are hidden messages in a new video shared on the band’s social media account, suggesting future live dates for the Britpop legends.
Following the epic ‘Live ‘25’ tour last year, which saw the band triumphantly reunite for a series of live dates around the world, speculation has been rife as to whether the Gallagher brothers will hit the road again for gigs in 2027. Reports have pointed to a huge UK and European tour for next year, which includes a Manchester residency and a return to the iconic Knebworth site where they held their record-breaking 1996 concerts.
Rumours surrounding the latter venue gained pace when the promoter of the ‘Live ‘25’ tour was granted a licence to host gigs at Knebworth last month, while Noel Gallagher himself hinted at the possibility, saying that “we’ve got to do something in the summer” as there isn’t a men’s football tournament happening.

This evening (September 3), a video was posted on Oasis’ official Twitter, showing two boys sitting in a chip shop with band’s 2002 hit ‘Little By Little’ playing on a TV in the corner. While seemingly innocuous, fans believe clues hidden in the background point to possible future concert dates.
In particular, numbers shown on flyers put up around the shop add up to the longitude and latitude of Celtic Park in Glasgow, Scotland. The home of Glasgow Celtic Football Club, fans have speculated that the clue could mean the 60,000-seater stadium may be the first stop in a new tour.

Other posts have pointed to the boys’ outfits resembling the one Liam Gallagher wore during the 1996 concerts in Manchester’s Main Road, as well as a flyer featuring a quote from one of Liam’s recent tweets. One date that may not be on the cards is Glastonbury 2027, with Liam recently offering a blunt response to rumours during an exchange on X/Twitter.
Next week, the brothers will make a rare appearance together for the Venice premiere of Don’t Look Back In Anger, the documentary due to arrive in cinemas on September 9, with a Disney+ release scheduled for later in the year. The film will centre on the brothers’ 2024 reunion and huge ‘Live ‘25’ tour dates, and is produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight.
Recently, the directors of the film, Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace (Meet Me In The Bathroom), discussed their decision to put hidden cameras in the studio to capture the Gallagher brothers’ reunion.
