Today is new Billboard chart day! As all charts update each Tuesday, and on Wednesdays during holiday weeks, here’s a look at highlights of the latest rankings, dated Sept. 12 and reflecting the Aug. 28-Sept. 3 measurement week, according to data tracker Luminate.
Among this week’s chart stars are Karol G, Rod Wave, Ella Langley, Ariana Grande, Shakira and Burna Boy.
As previously reported, Karol G, Judeline and rusowsky’s “BbY WOW” hits No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. Karol G adds her second leader on the lists, after “TQG,” with fellow Colombian superstar Shakira, led in its debut week in March 2023. Judeline and rusowsky rule the charts for the first time.
“BbY WOW” concurrently crowns Hot Latin Songs for a third week, marking Karol G’s longest-leading hit since “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” tallied a personal-best 14 weeks at No. 1 beginning in July 2024.
On the Billboard Hot 100, “BbY WOW” bounds 29-16. It becomes Karol G’s third top 20 hit on the chart, following “TQG” (No. 7 peak, 2023) and “Mamiii,” with Becky G (No. 15, 2022).
Meanwhile, “BbY WOW” parent album No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto notches a fourth week at No. 1 on Top Latin Albums, having become Karol G’s fifth total and consecutive leading set.

Image Credit: Jason Kempin/Getty Images Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” claims a 21st week atop the Hot 100 — moving to within a week of potentially tying Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” for the longest command in the chart’s 68-year history. Langley’s smash first led in February and has already set multiple chart records.
“Unreal,” Langley wrote over the post on her Instagram Story of the song’s latest week at No. 1, tagging its cowriters Luke Dick, Miranda Lambert and Joybeth Taylor.
“Choosin’ Texas” also wins the race on 2026’s Songs of the Summer chart.

Ariana Grande
The star’s “Hate That I Made You Love Me” is the No. 1 summer song on the Global 200 for 2026.

Shakira and Burna Boy’s “Dai Dai (FIFA World Cup Official Song 2026)” takes top honors among this year’s summer hits on Global Excl. U.S.

Dolly Parton
Image Credit: Courtesy Everett Collection A week ago, Parton returned to the top 10 of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart as “Jolene” and “9 to 5” reentered at Nos. 7 and 8, respectively. On the latest list, “Jolene” is No. 9 as “9 to 5” holds at No. 8 to rank as the late legend’s current top-charting hit.
Spurring the switch, ABC aired the hit 1980 movie of the same name — starring Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin — on Aug. 30. Per Variety, it averaged 4.275 million viewers in live+same day ratings, making it the most-watched film on a broadcast network in more than three-and-a-half years.
9 to 5 took Parton “to another level,” Billboard’s Paul Grein wrote in tribute, praising that “she more than held her own” with her co-stars and lauding the song’s “witty wordplay … hopeful messages … her charm and warmth … her audible smile.”

Belles
The last new song that Parton released, “Son of Jolene,” by singer-songwriter Belles and Parton, debuts on Country Airplay. Stations supporting the collab — which won Parton over thanks to its “clever” storyline — include KBAY San Francisco, KKBQ Houston and WYCD Detroit, according to Mediabase.
