A$AP Rocky is back with Ray-Ban, creating a brand new collection centered around all-metal frames.

The eyewear collection, crafted and modeled by the “Fashion Killa” rapper, dropped Thursday (Feb. 19), and consists of both sunglasses and glasses, all with a distinct vintage quality. A press release from the brand reads, “Silhouettes share deep roots with iconic styles from across the decades, but their revolutionary power lies in the present, testing the limits of classic design and expanding its definition. Bold wire frames and rimless sun and optical styles find expression through soft, oval curves and narrow rectangles, etched out in timeless shades of metal.”

The stylish frames are available in either silver or gold, often featuring thin designs with wood accents on the temples. You’ve got rectangular frames with sleek tinted lenses or oval-shaped digs inspired by glasses of times past. Pricing for this collection ranges from $202–$249. You can browse the full Rocky-backed collection of frames on Ray-Ban’s website.

These glasses are affixed with thin gold frames with rectangular lenses. The silhouettes is meant to be vintage inspired with the wood accents on the temples.

This round silver style is also meant to evoke a vintage model with the oval lenses and silver colorway. This one’s certainly a statement-maker, given you don’t see this style worn often. It’s a trend-setting pair for those daring enough to try them out.

Pretty much every style can be altered to include your prescription, even the sunglasses. Speaking of sunglasses, it is important to note the lenses before buying. There is very specific language used to determine if the sunglasses you’re buying are right for you, language that isn’t always common sense.

Rocky’s Ray-Ban sunnies are either 2N or 3N. The number before the N indicates the category of tint. A three is a strong tint, as seen on the RB3928 sunglasses model. This means the sunglasses are suitable for strong, direct sunlight, providing the wearer with high UV protection. While they are tinted, they’re just light enough where it’d be safe to drive with them on, unlike a category four. A category two, seen on the RB3929 model, is a subtle tint that still protects the wearer’s eyes, but not as avidly as the category three.

Sunnies like these are fashion-forward, but still give you the protection you need. The oval-shaped lenses are 2N, which means they are moderately tinted, protecting the eyes against the sun’s harmful rays. The N stands for not polarized, meaning they are standard lenses. This is opposed to polarized lenses, which means they reduce glare.

More sunnies, but this time, with a square lens. The lenses are dark brown and are classified as a 3N. This means they are nonpolarized, but the tint level is very dark, meaning it can protect your eyes from significant sunlight. These would be great for beachgoers or those who like sunbathing.

The N indicates that neither of the sunglasses is polarized, meaning they are standard lenses. This is opposed to polarized lenses, which means they reduce glare. So, if you’re worried about glare from reflective surfaces like water, snow or roads, you’ll want polarized lenses for your sunnies. Every pair of A$AP Rocky Ray-Ban glasses comes in a collector’s case that looks like a stack of money.

With the money-inspired case, you’ll also get the standard Ray-Ban carrying case inside that snaps closed. Rocky was named the first-ever creative director of the eyewear brand back in February 2025. With this news, the rapper launched his debut line called “Blacked Out Collection” in April 2025, featuring stylish frames with heavily tinted lenses.
