Blippi Goes Pop-Punk: Watch Yellowcard Team Up With the Preschool Fave for ‘Go Go Go’ Song & Music Video

Look who made his way to Ocean Avenue.

Popular children’s entertainer Blippi has joined forces with pop-punk band Yellowcard to put out the brand-new song “Go Go Go.” The collaboration brings together Yellowcard — all of whom are dads with Blippi fans in their families — with one of the biggest names in children’s entertainment.

While “Go Go Go” is a song for kids, it’s also perfect for millennial parents who grew up on pop-punk and now listen to Blippi songs with their children.

“Our kids have been watching Blippi for years, so getting to make a song together felt pretty surreal for us as dads,” said Yellowcard in a press release. “We’ve all seen Blippi exploring trucks and excavators at home with our families, so stepping into that world and creating ‘Go Go Go’ together was incredibly fun.”

“Go Go Go” introduces pop-punk to a new generation just in time for Yellowcard’s comeback. Last year, the band — William Ryan Key (vocals/guitar), Sean Mackin (violin), Ryan Mendez (guitar) and Josh Portman (bass) — dropped their 11th studio album Better Days. In May, the “Ocean Avenue” group will kick off their cross-country tour with support from New Found Glory and Plain White T’s.

The unexpected crossover — which also comes with a new music video — launches Blippi’s Year of Vehicles, a yearlong celebration of children’s favorite vehicles (think race cars, monster trucks and excavators).

“Kids love learning about vehicles with me — it’s one of the biggest things they watch on the Blippi channel, and honestly it’s one of my favorite things to explore too,” Blippi said in a press release. “So I’m really excited my friends from Yellowcard helped kick off the Year of Vehicles with ‘Go Go Go.’”

“Go Go Go” is just the beginning of more music to come from Blippi and Yellowcard. The pair also have additional surprises stored up for next month.
