TOMORA make live debut as they announce 2026 UK and European tour

TOMORA have made their live debut, as the supergroup of AURORA and The Chemical Brothers‘ Tom Rowlands announce details of a 2026 UK and European tour. See details below along with photos, footage, the setlist and more from their London and Manchester gigs.

Following on from huge launch single ‘Ring The Alarm‘, the duo announced the release of debut album ‘Come Closer‘ with details of two intimate shows in London and Manchester to mark their first time on stage as a unit and to warm-up for their upcoming Coachella slot.

After TOMORA performed their first gig at Manchester’s legendary New Century Hall on Wednesday (March 25), NME headed down to see their London show at EartH in Hackney last night (Thursday March 26).

With Rowlands centre stage at the back on synths, samplers and programming, Aurora arrived on stage flanked by a lookalike co-vocalist and dancer – playing a mirror to the Norwegian sensation’s every move, beat of the drum and dramatic delivery.

“Thanks a lot for being here at our first show in London,” AURORA told the crowd. “It means a lot to us”.

Performing before a screen of neon sci-fi imagery, TOMORA opened with a boisterous outing of ‘Ring The Alarm’ before the sinister night ride of ‘My Baby’. They played seven cuts from the largely unheard ‘Come Closer’, with highlights including the gently hypnotic vocal gymnastics of ‘The Thing’, the inescapable sing-along of new single ‘Somewhere Else’ landing like an old favourite, the epic rave of ‘I Drink The Light’, and the intense machine gun rhythms of feral closer ‘In A Minute’.

They also dropped curated cuts from one another’s catalogue that they’d collaborated on, namely the Rowlands co-produced ‘Starvation’ and ‘My Body Is Not Mine’ from AURORA’s 2024 album ‘What Happened To The Heart?’ and Chems’ massive single ‘Eve Of Destruction’, which the Norweigian singer lent vocals to back in 2019 for ‘No Geography’.

It made for a fully-rounded dancefloor-smashing experience, which will come to fulfil its full potential on festival stages, and when fans come to know the album and when they hit London’s Roundhouse, SWG3 Galvanizers in Glasgow and big stops in Amsterdam and Berlin on their new winter dates. See details below.

TOMORA’s London setlist was:

‘Ring The Alarm’
‘My Baby’
‘Starvation’ (AURORA song)
‘The Universe Sent Me’ (The Chemical Brothers song)
‘The Thing’
‘Somewhere Else’
‘Eve of Destruction’ (The Chemical Brothers song)
‘I Drink The Light’
‘Come Closer’
‘My Body Is Not Mine’ (AURORA song)
‘In A Minute’

Speaking to NME about what to expect from their live shows, AURORA promised that they were “going to cook up something nice… on a very low budget!”

“To all of my fans in the autistic community, please bring ear protection,” she continued. “It’s going to be OK, but protect your ears. We don’t want any structure to be left in a building after we’ve been there.

“We’re going to move around a lot, and like both our shows, it’s going to be very dynamic. I feel like I can experience TOMORA in the same way as anyone out there can; both from the inside and out. There’s something about this album that is easier to listen to without judgment. It’s very enjoyable.”

She added: “It’s a freeing thing, and it’s been very easy to live with it. It’s the same with the live performance: I’m going to feel like I’m also in the audience, and not just entertain, but play. I think I’m going to learn some things.”

Rowlands agreed: “The music we’ve written is going to be wild. We were working one day in the studio and putting ideas together for a set. It was so crazy. Afterward we were like, ‘This is the most intense it’s ever going go be’.”
