Bring Me The Horizon announce 48-hour digital broadcast of ‘L.I.V.E. In São Paulo’ ahead of streaming and physical release

Bring Me The Horizon have announced plans for a 48-hour digital broadcast of their L.I.V.E. In São Paulo concert film, ahead of it arriving on streaming platforms and being given a physical release.

L.I.V.E. In São Paulo (Live Immersive Virtual Experiment) was announced by the Sheffield metal giants in February, and captures their biggest headline show to date. Held in late 2024, the gig saw Oli Sykes and co. perform at Brazilian city’s Allianz Parque Stadium to a sold-out crowd of 50,000 fans.

Boasting multi-camera footage, drone shots, and video clips submitted by the audience, the film is described as an “immersive, multi-angle experience”, and arrived in cinemas for just two days last week.

Now, the Sheffield metal heroes have announced plans for a global 48-hour livestream of the film. It will take place on April 10 from 5pm ET (10pm BST), and give fans around the world the opportunity to watch the footage as a global shared moment, and connect through a built-in live chat function. Visit here for tickets and more information.

As well as news of the livestream, Bring Me have also released footage of ‘Doomed’ – a seven-minute video that captures one of the most poignant moments in the film. The video also features the ‘Doomed Interlude’, which saw the band perform a medley that spanned across the full arc of their career while on stage in São Paulo. Check it out below.

L.I.V.E. In São Paulo was co-directed by Sykes and CiRCUS HEaD, and expands on the visual universe of BMTH’s ‘POST HUMAN’ series, blending cinematic production, fan perspectives and character cameos such as E.V.E, Selene and M8.

The setlist spans the full evolution of BMTH’s catalogue, ranging from ‘Sempiternal’ [2013] and ‘That’s The Spirit’ [2015], to ‘Amo’ [2019] and the ‘POST HUMAN’ series [2020-present].

Following the cinema screenings in over 35 countries – including the UK, US, Australia and Brazil via Trafalgar, Sony and RCA – the concert film will be available on album and on DVD from April 10, and a new run of merch will be on offer too.

NME gave L.I.V.E. In São Paulo a glowing five-star review, and praised the ambitious film as a “statement of greatness”.

“Stitched together from different types of contrasting video – modern and vintage cameras, drone shots, fan footage – their performance is suitably fiery, from the stratospheric choruses of ‘Mantra’ and ‘Happy Song’ to the feral rush of old-school ragers ‘Antivist’ and ‘Shadow Moses’,” it read.

“It’s as much about the fans as it is the band – and the film appropriately reflects the magnitude of the moment, bringing the viewer into every circle pit, every tearful outburst, every declaration of love.”

The release of the concert film comes after Sykes spoke to NME at Reading 2025 about the band’s future, and revealed that 12 more songs could be arriving at some point as part of the ‘Director’s Cut’ of ‘Post Human: Nex Gen’ – although it may take a while for more new music after that as he has become the father of twins.

“The music will come, but it’s just not the be-all and end-all,” he said last summer. “We’re realising that we don’t have to put another record out; we just put one out. Most bands would go away for two years, have an actual break. You don’t have to do this, but I want to and I enjoy it. If it doesn’t happen, then it doesn’t happen.”

Since going into 2026, Bring Me The Horizon have shared the ravey but heavy new collab with Illenium, ‘Slave To The Rithim. After debuting the visuals for Illenium’s live show at the Vegas Sphere, Sykes has announced his new live production company Patient Zero – building on the work he’s done creating BMTH’s spectacular stage show.

The band have also announced a limited vinyl edition of ‘Lo-Files’ for Record Store Day 2026, as well as a special pressing of ‘Bad Life’ with Sigrid, and will be embarking on their 2026 ‘Ascension Program 2’ North American tour at the end of next month.
