Bruno Mars has confirmed his new album is finished and ready.

The singer, real name Peter Gene Hernandez, confirmed on X that he had completed his upcoming record, although he revealed little detail about the LP to come.

“My album is done,” he posted simply.

Mars’ highly anticipated fourth solo LP will be his first since 2016’s 24K Magic, which featured hits including That’s What I Like, Versace on the Floor, and Finesse.

24K Magic was one of the most successful albums of the modern era, winning the star seven Grammys, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year for the title track, and Song of the Year for That’s What I Like.

In the meantime, he linked up with Anderson.Paak to form Silk Sonic and dropped the 2021 LP, An Evening With Silk Sonic.

The Silk Sonic record also received acclaim, especially the lead single, Leave the Door Open, which won both Record and Song of the Year at the 2022 Grammys.

The duo decided not to submit the album itself for consideration, despite being a top contender.

“We thank the Grammys for allowing us to perform on their platform – not once but twice – and awarding us at last year’s ceremony,” Mars told Rolling Stone at the time. “We’d be crazy to ask for anything more.”

After the Silk Sonic era, Mars returned with several duets, including Fat, Juicy & Wet with Sexyy Redd, and Die With a Smile, the smash hit with Lady Gaga that won a Grammy in 2025.

He also linked up with Rosé on APT at the end of 2024, which has three nominations at next month’s Grammy awards show, including Record and Song of the Year.
