BTS World Tour ‘Arirang’ in Busan: Live Viewing to screen June 13, marking the group’s anniversary
BTS’ Arirang world tour will come to the big screen for one-night-only with a live screening of their homecoming Busan, South Korea gig.
Scheduled for June 13 — BTS’ official anniversary date — at the Busan Asiad Municipal Stadium, BTS World Tour ‘Arirang’ in Busan: Live Viewing will screen live globally via the Trafalgar Releasing event.
Tickets for the event go on sale May 28. More information, including which theaters are participating, will be available at the BTS Live Viewing site.
The gig marks the Rolling Stone cover story stars’ first show at their home stadium since 2022, with the group returning to the venue following their mandatory military service. The
“We’re proud to continue our role in BTS’ comeback of the decade with this live viewing from Busan,” Trafalgar CEO Marc Allenby said in a statement. “Marking the anniversary of the group’s debut, this special day gives fans across the globe a chance to celebrate, wherever they may be. Together with our exhibition partners, we’re excited to make this event truly unmissable.”
BTS are in the midst of the North American leg of their Arirang world tour, which concludes next week with a four-night stand at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium. After that, BTS will perform two shows in Busan before embarking on a European leg beginning in late June. Another North American leg kicks off Aug. 1 with two nights at East Rutherford, New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium and wraps in early September after four shows at Inglewood, California’s SoFi Stadium.
The Arirang world tour in support of BTS’ latest album is currently set to run through March 14.
