BTS fans react to rush for tickets in 2026 world stadium tour pre-sale

BTS fans have been sharing their experiences of trying to secure tickets for the group’s 2026/2027 world stadium tour.

The K-pop stars will head out on a huge global trek this spring in support of their new studio album, ‘ARIRANG’, which is released on March 20.

It is set to cover 34 regions with a total of 79 live shows spanning Asia, North America, Europe, South America and Australia. They’ll head to the UK in July for two massive concerts at London’s Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Pre-sales for Army Membership holders went live this afternoon (January 22), ahead of the general sale this Saturday (January 24). Find all ticket information here and here.

Shortly after the first batches of tickets went live, fans quickly took to social media to express their joy, frustration and disappointment.

One person had anticipated a “bloodbath” scramble for tickets, saying that there were “40k ahead of me for Brussels and 63k for Munich”. “I’m so scared,” they added. Despite the Ticketmaster queue “moving SO SLOW”, however, the user later excitedly tweeted that they had “FUCKING GOT THEM” – referring to floor-standing tickets.

Someone else said they had “won the ticket war” and would be “seeing BTS in London again!!!”.

Referring to the pricing for Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, another fan posted: “We have tickets for London!! £100 a ticket for the 200 blocks is so good.”

alright everyone, see you on the other side of the bts ticket presale bloodbath pic.twitter.com/6PouZ2wXaU

Elsewhere, some hopefuls reported that Ticketmaster had turned off dynamic pricing for the BTS London gigs, among other dates.

The controversial function was notably used for Oasis’ Live ’25 reunion tour. Last September, the ticket giant worked with the UK government to implement some changes, following an investigation into the potential use of dynamic pricing for the gigs.

“The fact they turned dynamic pricing off for BTS oh I love uuiuuuuu,” a fan wrote. Another person said: “DYNAMIC PRICING IS OFF. GOD BLESS BTS FOR THE KINDNESS IN THEIR HEARTS 😭😭😭😭😭.”

A separate post quoted an apparent onscreen message for London, reading: “Ticket prices will not change during the presale or onsale.” The user wrote: “PAUSE!!!! BTS aren’t doing dynamic pricing for London 😆😆.”

It is reported that dynamic pricing is still being used for other cities on the tour, though.

Many weren’t as lucky in the pre-sale, however. “Anybody got a spare BTS ticket 😭,” asked one disappointed fan. One frustrated user shared: “For the peace of my mind, [I’ve] blocked the words ‘omg I got the ticket’, ‘omg I’m seeing BTS’ 💀.”

Meanwhile, a customer hoping to purchase a ticket for Paris said the online queue was “barely moving”. Someone replied: “I was in the waiting room for Paris an hour before the sale and got put 72,200 [in] the queue lol.”

But the queue wasn’t an issue for everyone. “Ticketing for BTS in Tampa was easy for me!” one fan said. “For [the] Saturday queue, I was 300 something. For [the] Sunday queue, I was 262. Got tickets in like 5-6 minutes.”

Another commented: “Entered the queue at 13:00 with 1604 ahead of me. It’s gonna be the first time I watch the boys live, I am ecstatic!!!”

One person criticised “crass” fans who’d said they were attending multiple concerts of the tour. They told them to “read the room” as others struggled to access tickets: “In queues of nearly 100k people for a presale – You don’t need to broadcast your flexing on social media when many people can’t even get one single ticket!”

Sharing an update an hour after tickets went on sale, the same X/Twitter user said: “I’m still 59k+ [in the queue] for #BTS_WORLDTOUR_LONDON but 11,392 for Paris so 🤞.”

What does feel crass is the amount of people posting ‘going both nights’ – like read the room. In queues of nearly 100k people for a presale – You don’t need to broadcast your flexing on social media when many people can’t even get one single ticket!

Elsewhere, a fan shared their experience of failing to snag tickets at the very last minute: “Had a ticket in my cart, filled out my card info, and literally right as my payment was processing, the website refreshed and I lost it all. Waited 3 hours and all tickets for Korea are sold out 😭😭😭.”

They added: “Now to do it all over again in a few hours for the rest of the cities I’m planning to go to.”

Another person claimed: “[Ticketmaster] fvkcing kicked me out when it was my turn! 💔 I’m so heartbroken 😭😭😭.” They said this problem had occurred despite their “relatively low” queue number.

A similarly unlucky fan commented: “I’ve never felt so defeated and my dreams so far from me before. I’ve been an ARMY since 2013, and I just failed yet again to get tickets to see BTS. I have never felt so down or defeated in my life.”

A separate tweet from someone else read: “Didn’t get a BTS ticket 😞. I thought I’d at least have a chance for a bad seat but by the time I got through the queue there was nothing left except one 430€ dynamic pricing ticket that I couldn’t afford. I’m sadder than I thought I’d be.”

BTS’ forthcoming new album was recently listed as one of NME‘s most anticipated album releases of 2026. “Expect this comeback to be massive,” the entry read.

“We’ve waited more earnestly than anyone else,” RM wrote to announce the group’s return. “The year we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived,” Jimin added. “In 2026, we’ll make even more good memories, so look forward to it!” V said.

A press release revealed that while ‘ARIRANG’ will span a wide range of emotions, including love and longing, it is also expected to strike a balance between deeply personal and universally relatable.
