Craig Finn is staring down the barrel of a jam-packed 2026. The Hold Steady frontman already announced the second round of his joint tour with Drive-By Truckers’ Patterson Hood, set for June, and a European trek supporting the Mountain Goats in October. To those, Finn has now added a November run of full-band headlining shows, billed to Craig Finn & the Band of Forgiveness, in support of his latest solo LP, last year’s Always Been. “I put together The Band of Forgiveness last year with three Minneapolis-based musicians—Nelson Devereaux, Joe Strachan, and Ethan Elseth,” Finn shared in a press statement. “I had imagined a group of musicians that would help me take on some of my songs in a unique approach, one that let the stories shine through but still brought a high level of musicality…I was thrilled how the tour went—each show the band ascended higher, and we were able to create dramatic musical narratives that were exciting and satisfying.”
