The feature is directed by longtime George Michael collaborators Andy Morahan (Faith, Careless Whisper) and David Austin (George Michael Freedom Uncut). Set for a worldwide release in cinemas in late 2026, the global theatrical rollout will include exclusive early access IMAX screenings in the United States. Screenings will also feature an opening original short film by celebrated filmmaker and photographer Mary McCartney (If These Walls Could Sing).
Produced by George Michael Entertainment and Mercury Studios in association with Globe Originals, the film captures the artist at the absolute peak of his creative and cultural power. In addition to beautifully restored live performance footage, the release incorporates an unseen, unheard interview alongside rare photography, giving fans an intimate look at the performer’s magnetic stage presence and musical genius.
Complementing the big-screen event, George Michael Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment will release The Faith Tour live album. The 18-track collection features previously unreleased live recordings, showcasing timeless hits from both his solo catalogue and his era with Wham!.

Following previous event cinema successes, George Michael: The Faith Tour promises to deliver a major cinematic milestone celebrating one of pop music’s most enduring legacies.
