Here’s what AC/DC played as they kicked off their 2026 North American tour with classic-packed show

AC/DC have kicked off their 2026 North American tour in North Carolina, and broken out a huge setlist packed with hits. Check it out below along with footage from the night.

The dates mark the latest leg of the rock icons’ ‘PWR/UP’ tour, which launched in Charlotte on Saturday July 11 – before continuing with more shows in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Atlanta and more later this year.

To launch the 21-song set, the rock giants opened up with their classic ‘If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)’ from the hit 1979 album ‘Highway To Hell’, followed by the title track from that record later in the night.

Two songs from their latest album, 2020’s ‘Power Up’, made the cut too: ‘Shot In The Dark’ and ‘Demon Fire’, as did five songs from fan favourite 1980 album ‘Back In Black’, including ‘You Shook Me All Night Long’, ‘Hells Bells’ and the title track.

The set was dominated by classic tracks from their earlier discography, wrapped up with ‘T.N.T’ and ‘For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)’, and the set also came just two days after the late frontman Bon Scott would have turned 80-years-old.

Find the full setlist below, as well as more fan footage.

AC/DC’s setlist was:

‘If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)’
‘Back in Black’
‘Demon Fire’
‘Shot Down in Flames’
‘Thunderstruck’
‘Have a Drink on Me’
‘Hells Bells’
‘Shot in the Dark’
‘Stiff Upper Lip’
‘Highway to Hell’
‘Shoot to Thrill’
‘Sin City’
‘Jailbreak’
‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap’
‘High Voltage’
‘Riff Raff’
‘You Shook Me All Night Long’
‘Whole Lotta Rosie’
‘Let There Be Rock’
’T.N.T.’
‘For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)’

Dates continue tonight (Wednesday July 15) in Ohio, before more shows in Wisconsin, Texas and Colorado later this month. In August, AC/DC will play in California, Nevada, Georgia and more, before wrapping up the North American leg in Montana, New Jersey, Philadelphia and more.

AC/DC’s 2020 album marked their 17th studio record and was given a four-star review by NME, which read: “By the time things wrap up on ‘Code Red’, which sees the band firing on all cylinders, it becomes clear that their steadfast refusal to adapt or change is no bad thing.

“While far from a reinvention of the wheel, ‘Power Up’ is a joyous celebration of the unbridled heavy rock that has served them well for almost 50 years and, we can hope, a unifying cry for the future.”

Around the time of its release, AC/DC spoke to NME about the inspiration for the record, and guitarist Angus Young said it was “guided by the vision” of his late brother Malcolm, who died in 2017.

“This year has been so bad and it’s a desperate time for everyone,” singer Brian Johnson added. “But this record just brings across the sheer power of rock‘n’roll that other music can’t reach. There’s a lot of stuff out there at the moment with loads of dancers and singers on stage and it all just seems so bubblegum-y and nice and twee. It’s just good to have a nice shot of rock’n’roll.”
