Hollie Rogers announces new album “Everything’s Fine”

Acclaimed singer-songwriter Hollie Rogers returns with the announcement of her new album “Everything’s Fine”, alongside the release of its first single, “Some Kinda Lover”.

Following the raw heartbreak and emotional turbulence that defined her 2022 album Criminal Heart, Rogers took an unexpected turn in her personal story, she became engaged to the very person who inspired the record. For a brief, hopeful moment, life settled into a gentler rhythm. Everything, it seemed, was fine… until it wasn’t.

Everything’s Fine was born from that tension, the collision of romance, responsibility, and the quiet chaos of adult life. Mortgage payments, shared loyalty cards and the sobering reality of tax returns soon crept in, providing fertile ground for a record that is both wryly humorous and deeply heartfelt. The album is a candid, often painfully relatable collection of songs for anyone who is struggling to hold it together whilst insisting through gritted teeth that they’re doing just fine.

Speaking about the album, Rogers explains, “Everything’s Fine aims to capture life in all its messy, brilliant, unpredictable moments. Some songs hit hard, some make you smile, and some do both. I wanted to tell stories that feel real and connect emotionally. Basically, life happens and this is the soundtrack.”

With Everything’s Fine, Hollie Rogers delivers her most honest and multidimensional work to date, a record that embraces life’s contradictions, finding humour, healing, and hope in the chaos.

The new record marks another major chapter in Rogers’ journey since leaving her career as a teacher to pursue music full-time. Born and raised in Cornwall, Rogers has since earned glowing praise from some of the most respected names in songwriting. Suzanne Vega(“a magnificent & powerful voice”), Chris Difford(“Hollie’s songwriting always knocks me out”), Ralph McTell, who calls her “a sensitive and observant songwriter” and Nick Mason, who describes Rogers as “reminiscent of Carole King and Joni Mitchell.” Praise doesn’t come higher.

Musically, Everything’s Fine is a rich, genre-spanning album that resists easy categorisation. While rooted in Americana, it weaves together elements of Blues, Laurel Canyon folk, Burlesque, and Pop, highlighting Rogers’ versatility both as a solo artist and as a collaborator. The record brings together an extraordinary cast of long-time friends and new creative partners, with contributions from household names Beth Nielsen Chapman and Elles Bailey, alongside the sweeping grandeur of The Budapest Symphony Orchestra.

Instrumentation was recorded at Masterlink Studios with one of Europe’s premier session bands, Redtenbacher’s Funkestra, while Rogers’ lead vocals were tracked at Quiet Money Studios with five-time Grammy nominee James McMillan, whose credits include work with Whitney Houston.

The lead single, “Some Kinda Lover,” showcases Rogers at her most unapologetically direct.
“This is my angry song,” says Hollie. “It had been building for a long time, and I’d avoided writing about it for years, until one day I snapped. The song poured out in about 15 minutes, and as is so often the case with songs that happen that way, I immediately felt so much better. Cheaper than therapy!”

Everything’s Fine will be released 5th June 2026.
