In an exclusive sit-down on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show, global superstar Harry Styles joined longtime friend Scott Mills to debut his new single “Aperture” and announce his third solo album, Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally, arriving this March.

The interview was a nostalgic reunion for the pair, with Styles playfully ribbing Mills about a “sweaty embrace” they shared recently in London. “You had very small shorts on, if I remember,” Harry joked. “Game recognises game.”

Life Beyond the Stage

Reflecting on his journey since the One Direction days, Styles spoke candidly about his decision to step out of the “bubble” of superstition and hotel rooms. “It’s hard if you’re not living a very human experience,” Harry explained. “I’d got really used to saying no to a lot of things… At the start of last year, I decided I was just going to say yes to everything. I started travelling more and doing things I’d always thought about.”

For Harry, this new music is a product of becoming an “audience member” again. “I think for me, and a lot of what this album is about, was me getting back on the other side of the experience,” he told Scott. “It was a good reminder that we’re all here for the same thing—to stand in a room with strangers and dance and get sweaty and sing.”

The “Full Circle” Tour Reveal

UK fans were treated to the announcement of the “Together Together” residency tour, which includes a massive run at London’s Royal Albert Hall from 12–23 June 2026. In a shock reveal, Styles confirmed that Shania Twain will be his special guest.

“I’m honoured and amazed,” Harry shared. “Some of my earliest memories of learning songs and singing in the car with my mom are of listening to Shania Twain. For me, it’s a very full circle moment.”

A New Mission Statement

Describing the lead single “Aperture,” Styles noted it was the final song written for the record. “It ended up being this perfect mission statement,” he said. “The opening and allowing for more things… the openness to be accepting of transitions and flaws. That is more powerful than denying them or refusing to change at all.”

The full interview is available to stream on BBC Sounds, with the album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally available for pre-order now.
