It’s Their Moment: Lady Gaga, ‘Golden,’ Sabrina Carpenter & More 2026 Grammy Pop Predictions

Heading into Sunday’s Grammy Awards, Kendrick Lamar is the leading nominee with nine nods, but the Recording Academy’s 2026 pop queen has to be Lady Gaga with seven nominations — including four nods in categories with “pop” in their name.

On the new Billboard Pop Shop Podcast, Katie & Keith are taking a closer look at five pop categories for Sunday night: best pop solo performance, best pop duo/group performance, best pop vocal album, best dance pop recording, and best traditional pop album. Who do we think will take home pop gold? Listen to the new episode below:

Also on the show, we’ve got chart news on how there are four albums that debut in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 — including a new No. 1 — and how Bad Bunny hops back into the top three thanks to a new vinyl release. Plus, on the Billboard Hot 100, Olivia Dean’s “Man I Need” climbs to No. 2 for the first time, while “I Just Might” from Bruno Mars holds at No. 1. And over on the all-genre Streaming Songs chart, Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” hits No. 1. Plus, can we expect a big debut from Harry Styles’ new song “Aperture” next week?

The Billboard Pop Shop Podcast is your one-stop shop for all things pop on Billboard‘s weekly charts. You can always count on a lively discussion about the latest pop news, fun chart stats and stories, new music, and guest interviews with music stars and folks from the world of pop. Casual pop fans and chart junkies can hear Billboard‘s executive digital director, West Coast, Katie Atkinson and Billboard’s managing director, charts and data operations, Keith Caulfield every week on the podcast, which can be streamed on Billboard.com or downloaded in Apple Podcasts or your favorite podcast provider. (Click here to listen to the previous edition of the show on Billboard.com.)
