‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Has Now Led the Top Movie Songs Chart for 6 Months

KPop Demon Hunters still can’t be stopped on Billboard’s Top Movie Songs chart, powered by Tunefind (a Songtradr company), with HUNTR/X’s “Golden” reigning on the December 2025-dated tally for a sixth month in a row.

Rankings for the Top Movie Songs chart are based on song and film data provided by Tunefind and ranked using a formula blending that data with sales and streaming information tracked by Luminate during the corresponding period of December 2025. The ranking generally includes newly released films from the preceding three months, with exceptions given to movies whose music is still experiencing a high volume of public interest.

With “Golden” still a force on the weekly Billboard Hot 100 (discounting the holiday season and the release week of Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl, the song hasn’t left the top three of the ranking since July 2025), the tune again tops Top Movie Songs, a perch it hasn’t left since ascending there on the July 2025 list.

In December 2025, “Golden” earned 95.5 million official U.S. streams and sold 19,000 downloads, according to Luminate.

Seven songs from KPop Demon Hunters appear on the chart in all, with “Golden” followed by “Soda Pop” at No. 2 (41.2 million streams, 5,000 downloads).

However, while music from the film represented the entire top six and seven of the top eight on the November 2025 list, the December 2025 tally sees a new challenger break up the KPop Demon Hunters dominance a bit: Shakira’s “Zoo,” from Zootopia 2.

Zootopia 2 premiered in theaters on Nov. 26, with “Zoo” preceding the premiere on Oct. 10. The track surged in streams and sales once the movie was released, garnering 21.5 million streams and 6,000 downloads in December 2025. It’s since bowed on the Hot 100, starting at No. 77 on the Jan. 10-dated ranking.
