LeAnn Rimes postpones two shows amid ‘severe illness’

LeAnn Rimes has been forced to postpone two gigs due to a “severe illness”.

The 43-year-old singer-songwriter is “heartbroken” that her plans to perform in Spokane, Washington, and Seattle on Thursday, April 30, and Friday, May 1, respectively, as part of her 30 Years of Blue Tour have been derailed.

Instead, the How Do I Live hitmaker will play Spokane on May 31 and Seattle on June 2.

On Wednesday (29.04.26), LeAnn revealed on her Instagram Stories: “Due to severe illness, I am unable to travel + perform this week. I’m so sorry to share that the upcoming shows in Spokane and Seattle will be rescheduled.

“Also, good news, as we will be seeing you very soon!”

The two-time Grammy award winner added: “I am truly heartbroken to have to reschedule, and I am so very grateful for your kindness and continued support as I recover. I look forward to being back on stage and seeing you very soon. Love, LeAnn.”

According to the Life Goes On performer, ticket holders will be notified of the changes “in due course”, and that all admissions will “remain valid” for the rescheduled dates.

And refunds can be issued through the original point of purchase if fans are unable to attend the new performances.

Last week, LeAnn and her 52-year-old husband, actor Eddie Cibrian’s 15th wedding anniversary, which was “filled with tears and worry” as “very tense, heart wrenching things happening at home with family”.

The I Need You singer penned on Instagram: “We got to step away for 3 days amidst work and some very tense, heart wrenching things happening at home with family. It’s been a different anniversary, one filled with tears and worry, but in between, there were moments of laughter and deep gratitude for this love of ours. (sic)”

LeAnn is “so grateful” to have Eddie – whom she has sons Mason, 22, and Jake, 19, with.

She added: “Day by day, we walk hand in hand through the rollercoaster of life… and god, I’m so grateful that it’s with each other. We’ve been through so much in our 15 years as husband and wife.

“We know how to ride the waves, hold each other in times of need, mend what needs mending. I’m so proud of what we have created together. 15 years is just the beginning. #hallelujah #happyanniversary #cabo

“Thank you @lasventanasalparaiso and paola, the romance director for making our anniversary so special (sic).”

Eddie – who married LeAnn at a private home in California in 2011 – also took to Instagram to mark the couple’s 15th wedding anniversary.

He posted: “Still burning after 15 years.”
