Niall Horan announces new album ‘Dinner Party’

Niall Horan announces new album ‘Dinner Party’

Niall Horan has announced details of his fourth solo studio album, ‘Dinner Party’.

The former One Direction singer will release the follow-up to his 2023 record ‘The Show’ on June 5 and you can pre-order your copy here, where you can also register for a pre-sale code for “future and yet to be announced” UK and European tour dates.

The new album has been executive produced by Julian Bunetta and John Ryan, two of Horan’s longtime collaborators, and has been described in a press release as “cinematic and organic, with songs that play like memories being gently created”.

The news comes just weeks after Horan revealed that his new LP was “done”, and he also shared the first snippet of new music with fans at that time.

The album’s lead single and title track will be released on Friday (March 20), and Horan has described it as being “about a really happy and big moment in my life”.

He continued by saying it was “an evening at a simple dinner party that changed the course of my life”, adding: “After writing the song , the words ‘dinner party‘ became the nucleus for the rest of the record. That once in a lifetime moment that I am grateful for and for everything that came after that night.”

Last month, Horan also released the single ‘Drive Safe’, a collaboration with Myles Smith. He has also been named on the line-up for Radio 1’s Big Weekend, which is taking place in Sunderland in May.

Horan’s former One Direction bandmate Harry Styles released his own fourth solo album ‘Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally’ earlier this month, and he played his first full show at Manchester’s Co-op Live on the release date. He also played lead single ‘Aperture’ at the BRITs 2026.

Styles also has his massive ‘Together, Together’ series of residencies coming up, which boasts a record-breaking 12-night stint at London’s Wembley Stadium – find remaining tickets here – as well as a 30-date residency in New York City. You can find remaining tickets here.

The tour begins in Amsterdam on May 16, before he heads to London, Sâo Paulo, Mexico City, NYC, Melbourne and Sydney, wrapping the tour up on December 13. Find remaining Australia tickets here.

Zayn Malik, meanwhile, is releasing his fifth album ‘Konnakol’ on April 17, and he will be playing a 31-date world tour that includes shows at London’s The O2, as well as Manchester, Glasgow and Birmingham – find tickets here.

Malik also joked about ticket prices, making a remark some fans interpreted as a lighthearted nod to discussions around the cost of Styles’ Wembley shows. “Hopefully the ticket prices weren’t too high – just saying!” he joked while thanking fans for coming to see him.

Louis Tomlinson released his third album ‘How Did I Get Here?’ in January, and spoke to NME about how he had to overcome feeling “utterly intimidated” by going solo, as well as wanting to support new talent and work with Yungblud.
