The Chemical Brothers target first Top 10 with Go

The Chemical Brothers target first Top 10 with Go

The Chemical Brothers are currently scaling the charts as their 2015 hit “Go” eyes a maiden Top 10 inclusion. According to the Official Chart First Look, the track is projected to jump 15 places to number seven following a massive spike in streaming and sales. This resurgence is fueled by the song’s prominent feature in the new Netflix action-thriller Apex, starring Taron Egerton and Charlize Theron. If the momentum holds until Friday’s final tally, it will mark the eighth Top 10 success for the legendary British duo of Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands.

While the veterans climb the rankings, Charli xcx is poised to claim the highest new entry of the week. Her surprise single “Rock Music,” which was unexpectedly announced last Thursday, is currently tracking for a debut at number twenty. Meanwhile, the dance floor is well-represented by Prospa and Cloonee’s “Free Your Mind.” The high-energy anthem is aiming to pierce the Top 20 for the first time after achieving a fresh peak just days ago.

The influence of cinema and biopics continues to dominate the cultural landscape. Michael Jackson remains a powerhouse on the singles chart following his recent high-profile biopic. Currently, “Billie Jean” sits at number three, with “Beat It” holding steady at nine and “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough” climbing toward the thirteen spot. Even the Jackson 5 classic “I Want You Back” is seeing a lift, currently positioned at thirty-three.

Further down the chart, several new collaborations and soundtracks are making an impact. Calvin Harris and Irish artist Jazzy are looking at a potential main chart debut with “Satisfy,” currently at number thirty. Sienna Spiro is also enjoying a significant boost; her track “Material Lover”—featured in the soundtrack for The Devil Wears Prada 2—is projected to rise an impressive 34 places. With her other track, “The Visitor,” also looking to re-enter the Top 40, the week belongs to a mix of cinematic tie-ins and unexpected returns. All eyes remain on Friday to see if the Chemical Brothers can finalize their decade-long journey to the Top 10.
