The energy in Manchester reached a fever pitch last night as The K’s took to the stage at Gorilla, delivering a high-octane performance for BRITs Week 26. The show, delivered by DHL in aid of War Child, saw the Merseyside indie-rockers ignite the intimate venue just days before the BRIT Awards arrive in the city for the first time in history.

Frontman Jamie Boyle led the charge with an electric vocal performance, supported by the airtight rhythm section of Ryan Breslin, Dexter Baker, and Nathan Peers. The band ripped through a setlist of fan favorites, including “Glass Towns,” “Circles,” and “Black and Blue,” proving exactly why they remain one of the most exciting live acts in the UK. Support for the evening came from The Florentines, who set the tone for a night defined by raw indie spirit.

This year’s BRITs Week is particularly significant as it precedes the 2026 BRIT Awards with Mastercard, taking place on Saturday, February 28th. To mark the ceremony’s move to Manchester, the concert series has expanded across the UK, touching down in cities like Newcastle, Edinburgh, and Nottingham. Beyond the music, the series serves a critical mission: raising funds for War Child to support the 520 million children globally currently affected by conflict.

As the series enters its final phase, the schedule remains packed with one-off, intimate performances. Tomorrow night, February 24th, rising star Myles Smith takes over Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms. On February 25th, the lineup diversifies with Jack Savoretti and Katherine Jenkins OBE in London, while kwn hits Brighton and Josh Baker performs at YES in Manchester.

The week concludes with a massive run of shows including Rossi. and Olivia Dean in Manchester on February 26th, followed by Jacob Alon in Edinburgh on the 27th. The series reaches its crescendo on February 27th at the Aviva in Manchester, where Robbie Williams will perform an exclusive show supported by The Lottery Winners. With only a few tickets remaining for the final dates, fans are encouraged to act quickly to support a vital cause.
