The NME Magazine January/February 2026 issue with Rose Gray on the cover is now on sale

The January/February 2026 issue of NME Magazine, with Rose Gray on the cover, is out now – alongside a copy of Guitar.com Magazine featuring Jacob Collier.

Having first launched in 1952, NME’s last printed edition of the weekly incarnation of the magazine ceased in 2018. In July 2023, NME announced our return to print with a bi-monthly global magazine that showcases the best new artists and bands on earth, alongside exclusive new franchises, unmissable features, industry insight and expert reviews of the latest music, TV, film, and gaming releases.

We’re thrilled to announce that British dance pop artist Rose Gray is on the cover of the 16th issue of NME Magazine, which is now available exclusively via retailer Dawsons. It comes bundled with a copy of Guitar.com Magazine, which features Jacob Collier on the cover. NME and Guitar.com are sister publications under NME Networks.

Each issue of NME Magazine is fronted by an edition of The Cover: NME’s flagship editorial property that champions emerging talent, elevating new artists and bands as part of our commitment to global new music discovery. Rose Gray, who released one of NME’s best albums of 2025 in ‘Louder, Please’ and was named to the 2026 BRITs Critics Choice shortlist, was profiled for The Cover by Lucy Ford and shot by photographer Lo Harley.

Artists who have graced the cover of the print magazine include ENHYPEN, Laufey, The Last Dinner Party, Chappell Roan, Kneecap, LE SSERAFIM, Nemahsis, Oklou, Kwn, Waylon Wyatt, BOYNEXTDOOR and now Rose Gray.

Subscribe here for more information about NME Magazine and exclusive queue jump opportunities, where readers can get their hands on a copy before anyone else. NME sends out queue jump tickets two hours before on-sale to readers signed up to the NME Magazine mailing list.
