Watch Fred Again..’s epic b2b set with Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter from Alexandra Palace

Fred Again.. is set to share official footage of his epic b2b set with Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter this week.

The live set took place last month and was held as the final UK stop on Fred’s unparalleled ‘USB002’ tour, which kicked at the start of the year.

Throughout the tour, the producer and DJ performed at different cities across the world and used each night to bring out a different special guest. These included Underworld, Mike Skinner, Joy Anonymous, La Roux, Nia Archives, The Streets, Romy, D Double E, Berwyn, Ezra Collective and more.

For the final night, held at London’s Alexandra Palace, Fred brought out iconic French DJ – and one half of Daft Punk – Thomas Bangalter for a b2b to close out the show. It marked only his second live appearance in nearly 20 years.

Now, Fred is set to share official, pro-shot footage from the night online so fans can revisit the set in full. It is set to premiere tomorrow (Saturday March 28) at 5pm GMT. You will be able to tune in below.

The collab at Alexandra Palace came on the heels of the two having performed together in Paris last October. While that set at the Centre Pompidou didn’t feature many Daft Punk tracks, the collab in London saw them break out classics like ‘Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger’, ‘Around The World’, and ‘One More Time’.

Other songs covered in the set included ‘Technologic’, their collab with The Weeknd titled ‘Starboy’, and a mash-up of ‘Aerodynamic’, ‘Rollin’ And Scratchin’’ and Fred Again..’s hit ‘Victory Lap’.

Ahead of the gig, Fred took to social media to reveal that Bangalter would be joining him. “I can’t believe I’m typing this. There is only one way to end this tour of surreal whirlwind dream-casting, and it is with this man, the greatest,” he wrote. “We’ve been in the studio all week and basically prepared an entire one-off show just for tonight.”

Fred Again..’s USB series first began in 2022, with an album that featured songs like ‘Baby Again’, ‘Rumble’ with Skrillex & Flowdan, ‘Jungle’, ‘leavemealone’ with Baby Keem, and ‘stayinit’ with Lil Yachty.

‘USB001’ arrived in 2024, and the follow-up, ‘USB002’, was released last December. The latter was awarded four stars from NME, in a review that read: “While the ‘Actual Life’ series and ‘Ten Days’ captured flickers of life, the common thread of ‘USB’ seems to be an eternal state of flux, where all limits and shackles are off.

“Bridging the gap between the album and playlist format, ‘USB002’ is the latest piece of evidence that the man of the hour will surely become the man of the decade, and – with the streak he’s on – perhaps his generation.”
