Lily Allen kicked off her intimate ‘West End Girl’ UK tour in Glasgow last night (Monday March 2), marking her first public show in seven years. Check out footage, photos and the full setlist below.

The pop star played a two-act set at the city’s Royal Concert Hall to showcase her acclaimed, BRIT-nominated 2025 album. A string section called the ‘Dallas Minor Trio’ kicked off the evening with a rendition of Allen’s 2008 Number One single ‘The Fear’, before treating the crowd to more early favourites.

These included the classics ‘LDN’ and ‘Smile’ from her 2006 debut album ‘Alright, Still’, and ‘Not Fair’, ’22’, ‘Fuck You’ and ‘Who’d Have Known’ from 2009’s ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’. The musicians aired ‘Hard Out Here’ from 2013’s ‘Sheezus’, too, as well as ‘Come On Then’ from 2018’s ‘No Shame’.

Allen did not perform any of her older songs with the trio, but the lyrics were displayed on the screen so that the crowd could sing along.

For the second part of the concert, Allen treated fans to ‘West End Girl’ live in its entirety following a 30-minute interval (via Setlist.FM).

This part of the night featured the debut live performances of the album’s title track, ‘Ruminating’, ‘Relapse’, ‘4chan Stan’, ‘Nonmonogamummy’, ‘Dallas Major’, ‘Beg For Me’, ‘Let You W/In’ and ‘Fruityloop’.

Allen had previously played ‘Madeline’ and ‘Sleepwalking’ on Saturday Night Live, and given ‘Pussy Palace’, ‘Tennis’ and ‘Just Enough’ their live debuts at a private show in LA.

The singer performed to a backing track instead of having a live band in Glasgow, and appeared on a play-style set with various props.

On ‘Pussy Palace’, she sang from a bed and discovered the “shoebox full of handwritten letters, from brokenhearted women wishing you could have been better” that is referenced in the lyrics. She then found a Duane Reade bag containing sex toys, butt plugs and lube.

Lily Allen’s support act in Glasgow being a string trio performing her hits with the words on screen for the audience to sing along to was the funniest, campest thing I’ve ever seen. pic.twitter.com/otmcDdOR7z

Lilly Allen at the concert hall, effectively a one woman theatre show of her album West End Girl, outstanding one of the best concerts I’ve been to. Even better as I was with my daughter Bethan. pic.twitter.com/JS0t503nnm

Allen’s current ‘West End Girl’ tour resumes in Liverpool tonight (Tuesday March 3) ahead of further dates in Birmingham, Sheffield, Newcastle, Manchester, Nottingham, Cambridge, Bristol, Cardiff and London.

This summer, she’ll head out on a UK and Ireland arena tour to perform ‘West End Girl’, marking the biggest headline trek of her career. Find any remaining tickets here.

Allen was recently confirmed as the final headliner for Boardmasters 2026. The pop star will also be topping the bill at London’s Mighty Hoopla, with over 35,000 tickets being sold for the event in just 30 minutes.

‘West End Girl’ landed at Number 13 on NME‘s 50 best albums of 2025 list, while the track ‘Pussy Palace’ bagged the Number 21 spot in our 50 best songs of the year feature.

The LP was written and recorded in a short period following the breakdown of Allen’s marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour, after he allegedly cheated on her. In a four-star review, NME described the project as a “vicious, vulnerable and victorious comeback”. It concluded: “By the end of ‘West End Girl’, it’s clear the relationship in this tale might be over, but Lily Allen’s comeback is just getting started.”

Allen has insisted that ‘West End Girl’ is “not a cruel album”, saying she does not “need revenge”. She explained that making the record had been “an act of desperation”, and called the collection “a mixture of fact and fiction”. Allen also said ‘West End Girl’ had been inspired by the “storytelling” style of The Streets’ ‘A Grand Don’t Come For Free’.

The singer was nominated for three awards at last weekend’s BRITs (Album Of The Year, Artist Of The Year and Pop Act), but did not win any statues on the night.

In other news, Allen has confirmed that she is in a relationship with Sigmund Freud’s great-great-grandson, Jonah Freud.
