Watch Guns N’ Roses play ‘Bad Apples’ for first time in 35 years in São Paulo

Guns N’ Roses played ‘Bad Apples’ for the first time since 1991 at the latest stop of their world tour in São Paulo – watch below.

The band’s huge 2026 run kicked off in Monterrey, Mexico last week and on Saturday night (April 4), they arrived at the Allianz Parque for a show as part of Monsters Of Rock Brazil.

In a hits-packed set, they found time to play covers of Black Sabbath’s ‘Junior’s Eyes’, as well as their regular versions of Bob Dylan’s ‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’, Wings’ ‘Live And Let Die’ and The Damned’s ‘New Rose’.

As the show drew to a close, they played ‘Bad Apples’, from 1991’s ‘Use Your Illusion I’, for the first time since the year the song was released and for only the third time ever.

Check out footage here:

Guns N’ Roses played:

‘Welcome To The Jungle’
‘Slither’
‘It’s So Easy’
‘Live And Let Die’
‘Mr. Brownstone’
‘Bad Obsession’
‘Rocket Queen’
‘Perhaps’
‘Dead Horse’
‘Double Talkin’ Jive’
‘Nothin’
‘You Could Be Mine’
‘Civil War’
‘Junior’s Eyes’
‘Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door’
‘New Rose’
‘Atlas’
‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’
‘Estranged’
‘Bad Apples’
‘November Rain’
‘Nightrain’
‘Paradise City’

These dates are the band’s first since drummer Frank Ferrer left the line-up last year after nearly 20 years. Just before the tour began, keyboardist Melissa Reese announced she would be sitting out of the shows due to personal reasons.

The opening show in Monterrey also saw them break out their two new songs, ‘Nothin’’ and ‘Atlas’ for the first time live, having released them back in December.

In May, the band will make two stops in Florida before continuing the tour with a series of European gigs in June and July. These commence with two shows in Poland, and are followed by a show in Dublin and a previously announced slot at the UK’s Download Festival.

Other gigs include stops in the Netherlands, Germany, France, and Belgium, before they head over the pond again for North American shows. These kick off in North Carolina on July 23, and wrap up on September 19 in Georgia. Buy US tickets here, European tickets here, and find a list of new shows below.

Elsewhere, guitarist Slash recently cast doubts on the band ever playing the Las Vegas Sphere, and also hinted at new Guns N’ Roses music, saying that “everybody [in the band] is thinking about it”.
