Hilary Duff is open to performing some “deep cuts” from her music career.

During an appearance on Hot Ones on Thursday, the singer-actress insisted she had a blast revisiting her early tracks amid her four-stop Small Rooms, Big Nerves mini-tour in January.

While Hilary performed renditions of fan favourites such as Wake Up and Come Clean, the former Lizzie McGuire star admitted some followers are still wanting more.

“There are certain songs that the fans are really fighting to be heard. Some of those include (2004’s) The Girl Can Rock, (2003’s) The Math, some real deep cuts that I don’t know if I can embody anymore,” she told host Sean Evans while trying an array of chicken wings covered in hot sauces.

“But I might try. Honestly, I’ve had so much fun. Going back into my catalogue and being like, ‘I want to do that one, I want to do that one. I can’t ever do that one.’ I don’t ever want to say never, and I get to drive the ship.”

Hilary released her sixth studio album, Luck… or Something, in February after a decade away from the music industry.

The Mature star will embark on a global trek, titled the Lucky Me Tour, in support of the project later in the year.

Elsewhere in the chat, Hilary reflected on how the pace of the entertainment business has changed, comparing the way new videos dropped on MTV’s Total Request Live (TRL) in the late ’90s and early 2000s to near-constantly in the age of social media.

“The fact that I have many, many memories of being at TRL is a part of my personality. There would be the same song on the TRL charts for, like, weeks after weeks after weeks after weeks. And can you imagine kids dealing with that kind of length in this day and age? But I’m also loving a TikTok trend,” the 38-year-old added.

“Actually, my hair and make-up (team), they’re dear friends of mine, and they’ll be like, ‘This is the trend we’re doing today,’ and I’m like, ‘O.K., I’ll do anything!’ I’m still a child actor inside, wanting to please.”
