The 2026 edition of the Isle Of Wight Festival is just days away, but what is the weather looking like? Find the latest forecast below.

The event returns to Seaclose Park on the island from Thursday to Sunday this week (June 18 to 21), with headline sets from The Cure, Lewis Capaldi and Calvin Harris.

Last September, dozens of other artists were named on the line-up, including Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, The Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg, Teddy Swims, Tom Grennan, The Kooks, Feeder, Rick Astley, David Gray, Five, KT Tunstall, Shed Seven, Starsailor, Suzanne Vega, Anastacia and Luvcat.

At the start of this year, a raft of further names were added: Two Door Cinema Club, Rose Gray, The K’s, Perrie, The Twilight Sad, Ash, Joel Corry, Good Neighbours, Alessi Rose, Chloe Qisha and Maxïmo Park.

As for the weather, the BBC predicts that the weekend will be filled with sunny intervals and a mild breeze, with minimal chance of heavy rain. Take a look at the latest BBC Weather forecast below (last updated 19:00, June 15).

Thursday June 18: Sunny intervals and light winds, with the only likelihood of rain starting at 1am on Friday morning. Temperatures range from 14 to 20°C.

Friday June 19: Sunny intervals and a moderate breeze, with low chances of rain in the early morning. Temperatures from 14 to 21°C.

Saturday June 20: Sunny intervals and a gentle breeze, with no rain predicted at any point. Temperatures from 15 to 21°C.

Sunday June 21: Sunny intervals and gentle breeze, with a low chance of showers in the evening hours. Temperatures from 15 to 22°C.

Speaking about the line-up, festival director Caroline Giddings has said: “It might be our best line-up yet. It’s my favourite so far, at least. We’re proud to put the future of music and current stars on a bill alongside artists like The Cure and the Sex Pistols, who helped lay the foundation of pop culture.”

She added: “The festival has always been an extension of the Isle of Wight’s rich cultural history. From Lewis Carroll and Tennyson to Julia Margaret Cameron, the island has been a source of inspiration for artists through time. We always try to honour that by presenting the very best music has to offer, giving people an unforgettable festival experience in the process.”

The 2025 Isle Of Wight Festival was topped by Justin Timberlake, Sting and Stereophonics, while Razorlight, English Teacher, Yard Act, Midge Ure, Pale Waves, Twin Atlantic, Alessi Rose, Amble and Nieve Ella were also featured on the bill.
